We chose Madagascar because it had a unique name. Also we chose it because it has really cute animals. Madagascar is located in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Africa. Madagascar is the fourth largest country in the world. In Madagascar they make textile and do wood carvings. They also paint paintings and do stone carvings. The three major religions in Madascar are Traditional, Christian, and Islamic. Madagascar has a lot of holidays like: Easter, Christmas Insurrection Day, African Unity Day, Republic Day, and New Years.
