We chose to do Venezuela because we didn't learn a lot a information about it last year in geography, so
we wanted to find out what was going on. Hugo Chavez is currently the President, and has been since
1999. In Venezuela the have majestic beaches and waterfalls, which they have the tallest waterfall in
the world called Angel Falls. Their national name is República Bolivariana de Venezuela. Their capital
is Caracas and their largest city is Maracaibo. Mountain systems break Venezuela into four distinct areas:
 (1) the Maracaibo lowlands; (2) the mountainous region in the north and northwest; (3) the Orinoco basin,
with the llanos (vast grass-covered plains) on its northern border and great forest areas in the south and southeast;
 and (4) the Guiana Highlands, south of the Orinoco, accounting for nearly half the national territory.
