| Day 1 - Arrive in Madrid | ||||
| After a bus ride from the airport, we arrived at our hotel (Hotel Pereda) in Madrid. Immediately we were greeted by an older fellow yelling at us for blocking the entrance to his hotel. He was not helpful, he just complained about us the entire stay (which was 2 nights to long). BTW: we were on the 6th & 7th floors and the 7th floor plumbing broke the second night. The rooms were small and dank and definitely not quiet. We highly do not recommend it. (Hotel Pereda - Madrid). Looking down the street from our balcony.
A powerwalk around the area, a brief rest and then a powerwalk to welcome supper. The evening meal consisted of a salad, chicken and potatoes, and ice cream for dessert. Turns out, this will be a feast in comparision to the next evening meal. |
