Dolphins have very strong tails that allow them to do somersaults and
be acrobatic. Their tails have two flat paddles called flukes. Dolphins
flukes have a lot of blubber on them. Their senses are hearing, touch
echolocation [clicking sounds that bounce of other objects] acute
eyesight but they
can't smell or taste. They have very small ear openings on each side of
their head.
Dolphins have to be
able to escape from their predators. Their predators are bull sharks,
dusty sharks, tiger sharks, great white sharks, diseases, parasites,
and humans.
