The Carroll 8th grade boys finished their season Thursday hosting Boone. The A team lost 31-40. Tyler Williams scored 9 points, Nate Simmons, Tanner White and Tyler Harmening each had 6 points. Nate Danzer and Peter Stevens each had a bucket. The young Tigers finished the season with a 3-8 record.

The B team won 32-29. Nate Danzer led the scoring with 9 points, Keegan Webber added 8 points, Ben Tidgren 6 points, Chandler Hagen 3 points and Zach Macke, Dakota Boyer and Tyler Harmening each had bucket. The B team finished with a 3-8 record.

The C team lost 24-35. Jakin Kolars scored 7 points, Dakota Boyer 6 points, Drake Warner 3 points and Chandler Hagen, Zach Macke, Cole Kautzky and Patrick Kelly each had a bucket. The C team finished with a 2-5 record.

The Carroll 8th grade boys traveled to Atlantic Thursday for 2 games. The A team lost a close one 40-43. Nate Danzer, Tanner White and Tyler Williams each had 9 points for the Tigers. Peter Stevens added 6 points, Nate Simmons 5 points and Tyler Harmening 2 points.

The B team won a shortened game 15-9. Chris Onken led the scoring with 6 points, Zach Macke hit a three while Matt Pauk, Chandler Hagen and Dakota Boyer each had a bucket.

The Carroll 8th grade boys traveled across town Monday to play Kuemper. The A team lost 28-64. Tyler Williams poured in 9 points, Tanner White added 8 points, Nate Simmons 6 points, Ben Tidgren 3 points and Peter Stevens 2 points.

The B team also lost 10-48. Tyler Harmening, Dakota Boyer, Chris Onken, Keegan Webber and Chandler Hagen each had a bucket for the young Tigers.

The C team was defeated 15-30. Dakota Boyer was hot with 9 points. Keegan Webber, Chandler Hagen and Cole Kautsky each had 2 points.

The Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team hosted DC-G Tuesday. The A team played well but lost 20-48. Tanner White led the scoring with 6 points, Peter Stevens added 4 points. Tyler Harmening, Nate Simmons, Matt Pauk, Tyler Williams and Ben Tidgren each had a bucket.

The B team also lost 29-44. Chris Onken had 9 points, Nate Danzer 7 points, Peter Stevens 4 points, Matt Pauk and Tyler Harmening each had a 3. Cole Kautzky chipped in a bucket.

The C team lost 23-53. Zach Macke had 2 three's for the Tigers, Chandler Hagen added 5 points, Jakin Kolars and Dakota Boyer each had 4 points. Patrick Kelly and Drake Warner each had a bucket.

The Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team traveled to Boone Thursday for 3 games with Boone. The "A" team lost 20-36. Tanner White led the scoring with 7 points, Nate Simmons and Matt Pauk chipped in 4 points each. Nate Danzer hit a 3 pointer and Tyler Williams had a bucket.

The "B" team won their first game of the year 33-29. Keegan Webber and Tyler Harmening led the Tigers with 7 points, Ben Tidgren added 6 points, Nate Danzer 5 points and Chris Onken 4 points. Matt Pauk and Chandler Hagen each had a bucket.

The "C" team also won 22-19. Jakin Kolars poured in 10 points, Chandler Hagen 4 points, Zach Macke 3 points, Drake Warner and Keegan Webber each had a bucket.

The Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team hosted crosstown rival Kuemper for 3 games Monday. The "A" team lost 15-53. Nate Simmons and Tyler Williams led the Tigers with 5 points each. Chris Onken and Peter Stevens added 2 points a piece.

The "B" team lost 21-35. Nate Danzer had 6 points, Tyler Harmening 5 points, Chandler Hagen and Keegan Webber each had 4 points.

The "C" team lost 11-26. Chandler Hagen led the way with 6 points. Zach Macke and Keegan Webber each had a bucket and Cole Kautzky added a free throw.

The Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team traveled to Harlan Monday night and lost 2 games. The A team lost 28-57. Tyler Williams led the way with 11 points, Nate Danzer tallied 7 points and Nate Simmons added 6 points. Matt Pauk and Tanner White each had a bucket.

The B team lost a close one 34-40. Chandler Hagen led the Tigers with 10 points, Chris Onken added 6 points. Keegan Webber and Jakin Kolars each had 4 points.

The Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team hosted Denison for 3 games tonight. The A team defeated Denison 22-20. Tyler Williams led the Tigers with 12 points, Tanner White added 6 points and Ben Tidgren had one basket. Peter Stevens pulled down 6 rebounds.

The B team lost 20-29. Tyler Harmening, Chris Onken and Nate Danzer each had 6 points, Chandler Hagen added 4 points, while Keegan Webber and Drake Warner each had a bucket.

The C team won a shortened game 10-4. Keegan Webber led the way with 6 points, while Chandler Hagen and Drake Warner each had a bucket.

The Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team traveled to Jefferson Thursday and came away with a split. The A team defeated Jefferson 37-29. Tyler Williams led the Tigers with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Peter Stevens and Nate Simmons each had 6 points and 5 rebounds. Matt Pauk added 5 points, Tanner White had 4 points and 7 rebounds, Nate Danzer hit a 3 and Tyler Harmening chipped in a bucket.

The B team lost 22-33. Chris Onken tossed in 6 points in his debut, while Drake Warner and Keegan Webber each added 5 points. Dakota Boyer, Jakin Kolars and Tyler Harmening each had a bucket.

They host Denison on Thursday at Adams gymnasium for a triple header.

The Carroll 8th grade boys hosted Harlan Monday and came away with 2 losses. The A team lost 24-50. Tyler Williams led the Tigers with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Nate Simmons chipped in 6 points, Nate Danzer and Tanner White added 4 points each.

The B team lost a shortened game, 16-22. Tyler Harmening and Cole Kautzky led the way with 4 points each. Dakota Boyer, Matt Pauk, Ben Tidgren and Chandler Hagen each had a bucket.

The Tigers travel to Jefferson on Thursday to face the Rams.

The Carroll 8th grade boys traveled to Denison Tuesday and the A team won their first game of the year 31-30. Tanner White led the Tigers with 10 points. Tyler Williams added 8 points and 6 rebounds, Nate Simmons chipped in 5 points and 5 rebounds, Matt Pauk hit a three and Peter Stevens grabbed 5 rebounds. Their next game is Monday against Harlan.

The B team lost 24-27. Chandler Hagen led the way with 8 points, Ben Tidgren added 7 points, Matt Pauk hit another 3 pointer and Patrick Kelly and Zach Macke each had a bucket.

The C team lost 12-20. Drake Warner and Andrew Boell had 4 points each while Chandler Hagen and Zach Macke each had a bucket.

The Carroll 8th grade boys opened the season with a 20-56 loss to IKM-Manning. The Tigers were led by Nate Danzer, Keegan Webber and Tyler Williams with 4 points each. Tyler Harmening and Tanner White each hit a 3 pointer. Nate Simmons added a bucket. Carroll's next game is Tuesday at Denison.
