The Carroll 8th grade boys finished off their season with 3 victories over DC-G Friday. The A team won 52-42 with Eli Cleveland leading the scoring with 20 points. Peyton Renning added 12 points, Addison Ross 11 points, Dalton Helmkamp 3 points. Brandon Schimmer, Ben Wellendorf and Caleb Horsley each had a bucket. Carroll finishes with an 11-1 record which ties the school record for wins in a season. Thanks for the great effort all season and good luck in the future. Keep working hard and great things can happen.

The B team won 46-33. Caleb Horsley had a team high 20 points. Conner Holdsworth added 6 points. Cooper LaRue, Mason White and Cody Wardell each had 4 points. Zach Riddle, Luke Schulte, Brady Bender and Kyle Christensen each had a bucket. It was a very well played game on both ends of the floor. The B team finishes the season with 3 straight wins at 5-7.

The C team won 43-25. Brady Bender led the Tigers with 12 points, Nate Nelson followed with 11 points and Luke Schulte with 6 points. Dillon Swift, Keegan Malone and Matt Thurman each had 4 points while Dan Wilson had a bucket. The C team finishes with an excellent 6-1 record.

The Carroll 8th grade boys hosted Boone Thursday and came away with 3 wins. The A team came from behind to defeat Boone 55-53. Addison Ross led the way with 26 points and Eli Cleveland chipped in 19 points. T.J. Feldman added 6 points while Brandon Schimmer and Caleb Horsley each had a bucket. Carroll is now 10-1 with their last game Friday against DC-G.

The B team beat Boone 43-31. Conner Holdsworth and Mason White led the Tigers with 14 points each. Kyle Christensen added 8 points, Cooper LaRue 5 points and Zach Riddle 2 points.

The C team pulled away and won 34-23. Brady Bender scored a season high 14 points while Nate Nelson and Dillon Swift each had 8 points. Matt Thurman also had 4 points.

The Carroll 8th grade boys hosted Jefferson Monday night at Adams gym. The A team defeated Jefferson 53-29. Addison Ross and Eli Cleveland led the Tigers with 16 and 15 points respectively. Brandon Schimmer had 6 points, Dalton Helmkamp 5 points, T.J. Feldman 3 points. Peyton Renning, Ben Wellendorf, Mason White and Conner Holdsworth each had a bucket. Carroll is now 9-1 with their next game against Boone.

The B team also came away with a win defeating Jefferson 25-16. Mason White led the way with 6 points. Cooper LaRue added 5 points, Brady Bender and Nate Nelson chipped in 4 each. Conner Holdsworth, Zach Riddle and Luke Schulte each tossed in a bucket.

The Carroll 8th grade boys hosted Atlantic Thursday evening. The A team came away with a tough 46-26 victory. Eli Cleveland led the Tigers with 14 points while Dalton Helmkamp and Caleb Horsely had 10 points each. T.J. Feldman and Addision Ross each had 4 points. Carroll is now 8-1 with their next game Monday against Jefferson.

The B team lost another close one 11-13 in a shortened game. Zach Riddle had 6 points, Brady Bender and Dillon Swift had 2 points each and Mason White added a free throw.

The Carroll 8th grade boys played crosstown rival Kuemper Monday night. The A team defeated Kuemper 53-33. Addison Ross led the Tigers with 19 points. Eli Cleveland chipped in 11 pts, Ben Wellendorf added 7pts, Dalton Helmkamp and Peyton Renning had 6 pts while T.J. Feldman tossed in 4 pts. Carroll is now 7-1 with their next game at home on Thursday against Atlantic.

The B team lost another close one 25-26. Connor Holdsworth led the way with 8 points. Caleb Horsley, Mason White and Brady Bender each had 4 pts. Cooper LaRue added 3 pts and Zach Riddle 2 pts. The B team is now 2-6.

The C team also had a close game but came up short 21-25. Nate Nelson led with 6 points. Dillon Swift and Cody Wardell each had 4 points. Brady Bender added 3 points while Matt Thurman and Luke Schulte each had a bucket. The C team is now 4-1.

The Carroll 8th grade boys opened the new year at Boone. The A team defeated Boone 48-30. Eli Cleveland and Addison Ross led the Tigers with 16 points each. Peyton Renning added 6 points, Dalton Helmkamp and Caleb Horsley 4 points each and Brandon Schimmer 2 points. Carroll is now 6-1 with their next game on Monday against Jefferson.

The B team lost a close game 31-33. Mason White led the way with 8 points, Zach Riddle had 6, Cody Wardell 5, Conner Holdsworth and Luke Schulte 4 each and Brady Bender and Cooper LaRue each had a bucket.

The C team came away with a nice win defeating Boone 27-21. Nate Nelson led the way with 8 points, Brady Bender had 7 points, Dillon Swift 6 points, Luke Schulte 4 points and Keegan Malone 2 points.

The Carroll 8th grade boys basketball team hosted Kuemper Monday night in a triple header. Carroll won the "A" game 50-31. Eli Cleveland led the Tigers with 17 points. Addison Ross added 13 points, Peyton Renning 8 points, and Dalton Helmkamp 6 points. T.J. Feldman, Ben Wellendorf and Caleb Horsley each had a bucket. Carroll is now 5-1 with their next game at Boone after break.

The Carroll "B" team lost to Kuemper 15-31. Conner Holdsworth led the Tigers with 6 points and Luke Schulte had 4 points. Cooper LaRue, Mason White and Cody Wardell each got into the scoring column.

The Carroll "C" team defeated Kuemper 21-20. Brady Bender made a free throw with 13 seconds left to take the lead. Brady ended up with 8 points to led the Tigers. Dillon Swift added 6 points, Nate Nelson 5 points and Matt Thurman had a bucket.

The Carroll 8th grade boys traveled to Harlan Monday and came away with 2 victories. The A team defeated Harlan 53-36. Addison Ross led the Tigers with 18 points and Eli Cleveland added 16 points. Dalton Helmkamp chipped in 8 points, T.J. Feldman rang up 6 points while Brandon Schimmer and Peyton Renning each had a bucket. It was another excellent defensive effort in the 2nd half that changed the game. Carroll is now 4-1 with their next game on Monday against crosstown rival Kuemper.

The B team defeated Harlan 31-23. Conner Holdsworth and Zach Riddle scored 6 points, Cooper LaRue added 5 points, Brady Bender 4 points, Dillon Swift 3 points. Mason White, Luke Schulte and Cody Wardell each had a bucket. Khalil Brooks got his first point of the year on a free throw.

The Carroll 8th grade boys "A" team hosted Denison Thursday and avenged an earlier defeat coming away with a 44-28 victory. Addison Ross led the way with 23 points and Eli Cleveland added 10 points. Dalton Helmkamp and Peyton Renning added 5 and 4 points. It was a great game by all players. Excellent job on defense and the boards. Carroll is now 3-1 with their next game Monday at Harlan.

The "B" team lost 26-45. Conner Holdsworth chipped in 12 points, Zach Riddle added 9 points, Cooper LaRue had 4 points and Cody Wardell 1 point.

The "C" team won 18-16. Dillon Swift led the way with 8 points, Matt Thurman had 6 points and Luke Schulte had 4 points.

The Carroll 8th grade boys traveled to Jefferson Monday and the "A" team won 54-34. Addison Ross led the Tigers with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Dalton Helmkamp added 10 points, Eli Cleveland 8 points, Ben Wellendorf and Kyle Christensen 6 points, Peyton Renning 5 points and T.J. Feldman added 4 points. Carroll is now 2-1 with their next game Thursday against Denison at CMS.

The "B" team played only 2 quarters and lost 11-20. Brady Bender had 3 points while Cooper LaRue, Mason White, Conner Holdsworth and Cody Wardell had 2 points each.

The A team hosted Harlan on Monday and played an excellent game beating Harlan 43-27. Eli Cleveland led the Tigers with 15 points, Addison Ross added 10 ponts and 6 rebounds. Kyle Christensen and Dalton Helmkamp each tossed in 8 points on great outside shooting. The kids had an outstanding defensive effort and dominated the boards. Carroll is now 1-1 with their next game at Jefferson on Monday.

The B team won a shortened game 12-2. Caleb Horsley had 3 points while Mason White, Conner Holdsworth, Zach Riddle and Brady Bender each had a bucket. They are now 1-1 with another shortened contest on tap against Jefferson on Monday.
