1-26-06 The "A" team finished the season with an outstanding game in a victory over Boone 41-25. Blake Haluska led the way with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Brian Gossett had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals, and Ethan Shields also tallied 10 points. Carroll finished the season with an 8-3 record. The "B" team was defeated by Boone 50-20. Cory Onken had 10 points and Peter von Qualen added 6 points. 1-19-06 The "A" team defeated Atlantic in another low scoring game 22-16. Taylor Gehling and Blake Haluska led Carroll in scoring with 6 points each. Brian Gossett netted 5 rebounds. Carroll is now 7-3 and their next game is Thursday at Boone. The "B" team was beaten by Atlantic 43-11. Tanner Janning had 4 points and Daniel Martinez 3 points and 4 rebounds. 1-16-06 The "A" lost a close one to Kuemper 25-24. Brian Gossett lead the team with 8 points followed by Blake Haluska with 6 points. Ethan Shields had 6 steals. Carroll is now 6-3 and their next game is Thursday at Atlantic. The "B" team also lost to Kuemper 42-24. Cory Onken had a season high 15 points and 6 rebounds. Dan Martinez added 5 points and 5 rebounds. 1-09-06 WOW!!!! The "A" team defeated Jefferson Monday in 3 overtimes 43-42. Blake Haluska made both ends of a 1 and 1 with 3 seconds left to get the victory. Blake led the way with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals, followed by Ethan Shields with 10 points and Tim O'Tool with 7 points and 5 rebounds. Carroll is now 6-2 and their next game is Monday against Kuemper. The 'B' team was defeated by Jefferson 42-19. Daniel Martinez paced Carroll with 8 points and 11 rebounds, Peter von Qualen tallied 5 points and 4 steals. Cory Onken had 7 points to lead Carroll, Tanner Janning and Dan Martinez each had 4 points. 12-12-05 The Carroll 8th grade boys 'A' team was defeated by Harlan 46-30 Monday at CMS. Carroll was led by Ethan Shields and Tim O'Tool with 10 points each. Brian Gossett had 6 points and Brian and Blake Haluska each had 5 steals. Carroll is now 3-2 and their next game is Monday against Kuemper at St. Lawerance. The Carroll 8th grade boys 'B' team was also defeated by Harlan 52-21. Peter von Qualen led Carroll with 6 points, Dan Martinez had 5 points, Cory Onken had 4 pts and 10 rebounds, while Tanner Janning finished with 4 points. Carroll is now 0-4 and their next game is also Monday against Kuemper. 12-08-05 The 'A' team was defeated Thursday by Denison 33-26. Brian Gossett led Carroll in scoring with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 steals. Tim O'Tool also played well with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Nick Johnson added 6 steals. Carroll is now 3-1 and their next game is Monday at CMS against Harlan. The 'B' was also defeated by Denison 35-16. Peter von Qualen led the way with 6 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Blake Haluska led Carroll with 16 points, Brian Gossett had 7 points and 7 steals, Tim O'Tool had 5 rebounds and 3 points. The 'A' team is now 3-0. The 'B' team lost to Jefferson-Scranton 35-14. Carroll was led by Tanner Janning with 4 points and 4 steals, Brendan Strabley with 4 points, 4 steals and 6 rebounds. Carroll 'B' team is now 0-2. The next game is Thursday at Adams against Dension. 11-29-05 The Carroll 8th grade boys defeated Audubon 56-18. Carroll was led by Blake Haluska with 12 points and 9 steals, Tim O'Tool with 8 points ,10 rebounds and 5 steals, Nick Johnson 10 points, Ethan Shields 8 points and Brian Gossett with 6 points, 9 steals and 4 rebounds. Carroll is 2-0 and their next game will be against Jefferson-Scranton on Monday. 11-22-05 The Carroll 8th grade "A" boys opened the season with a 27-25 win over Denison on Tuesday. Carroll was led by Blake Haluska with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 9 steals. Ethan Shields had 6 points, Brian Gossett 4 points and Tim O'Tool had 5 rebounds. Carroll is 1-0 on the season and their next game is at Audubon next Tuesday. The Carroll 8th grade "B" team was defeated by Denison 43-16.
