Leroy Schulte pitched well for 4 innings having 4 strikeouts, 3 hits and only 2 runs. He was also 1 for 2 at the plate. |

| The JV earned their first win of the season with a 11-1 victory over Webster City. The bats were hot as the team totaled 11 hits. Joe Murrane was 3 for 3 with 3 rbi, Tom Steffen was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 rbi, and Kevin Duhrkopf was 2 for 3 with an rbi. Chance Cleveland got his first win on the mound pitching 3 solid innings giving up only 2 hits and no runs. |

| The JV was back in action after a week off and played an excellent game against Saydel coming away with a 6-1 win. Tom Steffen was 1 for 2 with 2 rbi, Jace Christensen was 1 for 1, with a double and an rbi, Hayden Ostrich was 2 for 3 with a double, and Zac Trecker was 1 for 2 with an rbi. Kevin Duhrkopf pitched 4 innings giving up only 1 hit and no runs to pick up his first win of the season and also had 1 hit in 2 at bats. Casey Kasperbauer finished up the final 2 innings and was 1 for 2 at the plate. |

| The Carroll JV baseball team dropped a tough one on the road to DC-G, 6-4. Jordan Thelen was 1 for 1 with 2 rbi, Casey Kasperbauer was 1 for 2 with 2 stolen bases, Jace Christensen, Leroy Schulte, Tom Steffen and Hayden Ostrich were all 1 for 3. Leroy Schulte took the loss on the hill with 3 1/3 solid innings, Logan Lehrkamp came in and stopped the rally with 2 strikeouts. | The Carroll JV boys baseball team finished with a 7 inning 4-4 tie against Carlisle Monday night. They came back from a 3 run deficit and added 1 run in the bottom of the seventh to tie the score. The game was stopped due to time limit. Leroy Schulte pitched 7 strong innings with 9 strikeouts and was 1 for 2 at the plate. Jace Christensen went 4 for 4 with a triple, 3 stolen bases and 1 rbi, Logan Lehrkamp went 1 for 4 with 2 rbi, Zac Trecker and Jordan Thelen were 1 for 3. | Casey Kasperbauer pitched a 3 hit shutout on Monday to lead the Carroll JV boys baseball team to a victory over DC-G 1-0. Kasperbauer also hit in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth after Tom Steffen was hit by a pitch and balked to second base. Kasperbauer, Leroy Schulte and Hayden Ostrich had the only hits. Carroll is now 5-4-2 with their next game Thursday at CB-AL. |

| The Carroll JV boys baseball team finished its season with a win over Winterset 5-1 in a shortened game due to impending weather. Logan Lehrkamp pitched 3 excellent innings to get the win. Leroy Schulte was 2 for 2 with 2 rbi, Jace Christensen was 2 for 3 with 1 rbi, Hayden Ostrich was 1 for 1 with an rbi and Brad Christensen was 1 for 2 with a double and an rbi. They finished this season with a 6-5-2 record.
Thanks to all the players and parents. It was a fun season, too bad the weather and rescheduling cut short the number of games played. |
