celebrated January 1st when they separated from the Czechoslovakia.
Liberation Day is on May 8th when they were freed by Russia and
America. Day of Czech Statehood is celebrated on September 28 because,
when Saint Wenceslas was murdered by his brother Boleslav and the
people organize a pilgrimage.
