Italy Clothes
Clothes in Italy followed the more international Gothic style of Northern Europe until the mid-15th century. Dresses then had a different appearance. The robe appeared, which was actually a dress with attached bodice and skirt. Usually velvets and brocades were more popular than materials of a single color from about 1480 to 1510. Women's skirts became shorter as well.
